We were recently voted best emerging band at the Emergenza Battle of the Bands Final. We have been broadcasted on several Gospel music channels but are also active in the Contemporary music scene.

 

Genre

The name of our band, “The Sunshine Remedy”, hints at the reggae and folk genres which we blend with other styles. The band stands out in the music scene with an authentic and original pitch. Sophisticated and groovy beats, combined with melodically rich bass lines, support the powerful lyrics alternated with saxophone solos.

 

Made to play

Since forming the band, we have played at a variety of festivals and gigs both big and small, getting the band name and style noticed. We are based in Brussels, Belgium, the “capital of Europe”, a hugely international capital city which attracts people from around the world. As well as being part of the vibrant Brussels and Belgian music scenes, we have played gigs as far away as the Netherlands, Germany Luxembourg, Italy, Latvia, Scotland and Ireland. Our band is international too, with musicians from Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, England, Scotland, Brazil and Sweden and a rich combination of musical backgrounds.

 

Band Interests

We like creating and spreading good vibes with our music. Through our songs, we share how we see the world and what we believe is important in life. We enjoy playing together, creating music and jamming with friends. We are open to new people and sounds. We are recently in the process of recording our album, entitled “The Sea turns Red”.
